RFP 19-20-45Hanford Homework Tutors- OVCDC is seeking proposals from Interested and qualified parties that are dedicated to working with youth for opportunities as a tutor or homework assistant. Must have experience, certification, or education to assist youth in a variety of academic requirements from K-12th grades. Additional areas of knowledge would be familiarity of various school curriculum. Will be responsible for collecting and turning in sign in sheets and providing monthly assessments to measure each student’s progress. Need to be available two (2) days per week, Tuesday & Thursday, 4:00 pm-6:00 pm from September 17, 2019 through May 21, 2020. Will be responsible for providing an assessment/report with graph to show progress of each student at the end of the program. Must be able to pass the OVCDC background check. RFP 19-20-37Lone Pine Cultural Instructor- OVCDC is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide services as a Cultural Instructor to indigenous TANF (cash aid & prevention) eligible 1st- 12th grade students. Seeking individuals that are dedicated to working with youth in the Lone Pine School District that can Instruct and teach indigenous cultural activities and crafts with students. Must have experience or education about the local Paiute-Shoshone history and cultural knowledge to assist youth in a variety of activities and Hands on Activities from 1st-12th grades. Areas of knowledge that will be considered as qualifying above would be familiarity with various teachings (storytelling, traditional songs, Language, dances, Traditional Practices). RFP 19-20-35Lone Pine Student Transportation- OVCDC is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide services transporting indigenous TANF (cash aid & prevention) eligible 1st-12th grade students, up to 30 students per week in Lone Pine, CA. Transporting students from the TANF After School Program at the Lone Pine Paiute/Shoshone Tribal Community Building or other appropriate agreed site to the provided locations of each enrolled student. Contractor must have current State Driver’s License applicable to Class B or higher required class. Must provide current documentation of vehicle insurance policy. See RFP for details.
