RFP 19-20-12Big Pine Equestrian Lessons- The Owens Valley Career Development Center is seeking proposals from responsible qualified independent contractors to coordinate and provide Equestrian services/lessons to include cultural and historical educational components weekly in Big Pine, California to TANF eligible participants including children 5-18. Contractor will instruct all students in horse care, proper riding techniques, safe riding skills and include information on indigenous peoples’ relationship and history with horses. Contractor will attend an initial orientation session with OVCDC each year. OVCDC is seeking no more than 20 lessons of at least one hour including horse & tack each week. RFP 19-20-11Bishop Fitness Classes- OVCDC is seeking bids from qualified vendors to provide three (3) one (1) hour fitness training sessions each week. Participants will learn basic fitness and nutrition fundamentals. Group discussion on commitment and nutrition to benefit the family unit will take place at minimum of once a month. The Contractor provides facilities, equipment and nutrition guidance to participants. Each class is not to exceed 30 participants. Provides classes to ages 12 and up. Best class times will be 6:30 pm Monday-Thursday. Other proposed class schedules will be considered. Up to 50 50 weeks (some weeks may be taken off). Contractor and or instructor to be present during quarterly meetings and at an annual orientation with participants. Contractor and all instructors assigned to the project must submit Background Clearance Authorization Forms to OVCDC and pass a 7 year criminal background check prior to working with children. Proposals will be evaluated as received with a close date of June 7, 2019 at 5:00 pm PST if sufficient qualified proposals are received. This RFP will remain open until an agreement is awarded. RFP 19-20-19OVCDC Subpart F External Auditor Services- OVCDC is seeking proposals from Certified Public Accountant(s) licensed in California to perform the annual financial and compliance audit of OVCDC in accordance with Federal Government standards contained in Uniform Guidance, Subpart F (2 CFR Part 200; 45 CFR Part 75) and professional standards set forth by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) applicable to audits of State, Local and Tribal Governments and non-profit organizations. A fixed price Agreement to provide the Subpart F audit for fiscal year 18/19-July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019 is anticipated (“Initial Term”). Any agreement awarded may be renewed for up to Four (4) additional Subpart F audits and fiscal periods of one year for 19/20, 20/21, 21/22 & 22/23 (“Renewal Terms”).
