We encourage learning through cultural experiences such as basket weaving, music, dancing, California history, traditional stories, and songs. Preserving and Revitalizing Our Native Languages through self-identities for our TANF clients and communities with Culture component and Culture Identity.

Wukchumni Language Instructors
Juanita Henson
Juanita is a teacher of the Wukchumni Language and has been teaching for OVCDC for 17 years. She holds weekly classes at the Visalia site.
Jennifer Malone
Jennifer is a teacher of the Wukchumni Language and has been teaching for OVCDC for 13 years. She holds weekly classes at the Visalia site.
Katie Icho
Katie is a teacher of the Wukchumni Language and has been teaching for OVCDC for nearly 1 year. She currently teaches alongside Jennifer at the Visalia site.
