We offers a variety of opportunities to learn from pre-school to family based settings. We encourage learning through cultural experiences such as basket weaving, music, dancing, California history, traditional stories, and songs. Preserving and Revitalizing Our Native Languages through self-identities for our TANF clients and communities with Culture component and Culture Identity.

Wukchumni Language Instructors

Juanita Henson

Juanita is a teacher of the Wukchumni Language and has been teaching for OVCDC for 17 years. She holds weekly classes at the Visalia site.

Jennifer Malone

Jennifer is a teacher of the Wukchumni Language and has been teaching for OVCDC for 13 years. She holds weekly classes at the Visalia site.

Katie Icho

Katie is a teacher of the Wukchumni Language and has been teaching for OVCDC for nearly 1 year. She currently teaches alongside Jennifer at the Visalia site.
